My take on retro fonts did a complete 180

I always thought old school typefaces looked cheesy and out of date. Then I saw a modern website use one in a really clever way for headers, and it just clicked. Now I'm digging through vintage font packs all the time.

That "complete 180" on retro fonts is so real. I've had that happen with old music and movies I used to dismiss. It's funny how your taste changes when you see something in a fresh context.

My buddy used to make fun of 80s synth music, calling it cheap and silly. Then he heard one of those tracks in a really cool tech ad for a smartwatch, with all these slick visuals. Totally changed his mind overnight. Now he's deep into these old playlist channels, texting me links to songs he swore he hated last year.

Fresh context is key. I see people trash things then love them when they're in a slick ad.
