Spent $300 on a 'design inspiration' subscription that just sent me the same Pinterest boards every month

I signed up for a year of a service promising fresh, curated graphic design ideas. After six months, I realized they were just repackaging popular pins I'd already seen. Has anyone found a truly good source for new visual ideas that isn't just a rehash?

Fresh curated ideas" sounds like a marketing gimmick tbh.

Yeah, it totally can be a gimmick. I read this article about how "curated" just means someone picked some stuff, but it might not actually be good or new. Paulw63 has the right idea with old magazines. Real fresh ideas often come from looking at old things everyone else forgot about, not from a shiny newsletter calling itself curated.

Maybe try looking at old magazines or books from different fields, stuff that hasn't been digitized yet.
