I finally tried chicken wire for a wedding arch, but it won't hold up

I had a big order for a wedding arch and decided to go foam-free with chicken wire. After setting it up, the flowers started sagging within an hour. I had to use so much tape to keep it in place, which looks bad. Is there a better way to secure chicken wire for heavy designs? I'd love to hear how others handle this.
