Had a turbo let go on a 6.7 Powerstroke right after a full service
Just finished a big service on a customer's truck yesterday, new filters and oil, the whole deal. Fired it up and heard this awful grinding noise from the turbo side before it even got warm. Pulled the intake pipe and the compressor wheel is just gone, pieces missing. Feels bad because the customer is gonna think I did something wrong, but it was just its time to go, I guess. Anyone had a turbo fail that quick after working on something?
