I thought AI code review tools were just hype until our team cut review time from 4 days to 6 hours
I was sure CodeRabbit and similar tools would just flag style stuff and waste everyone's time, but after we ran it on our 200k line monolith for a month, it caught 3 real race conditions that had been open tickets since 2023. Anyone else actually seeing these tools catch real bugs instead of just nitpicking formatting?

Three race conditions in a 200k line monolith is wild, those tickets from 2023 were probably just sitting there collecting dust. My old team ran one of these tools for two weeks and got nothing but "consider renaming this variable" so maybe we just had boring code.
