My friend told me to ignore the hype around a new AI tool called 'Synapse' last year.

He said it was just a fancy wrapper for older models and to wait for the real update. I didn't listen, spent two months trying to build a project with it, and hit a wall because it couldn't handle basic logic chains. I wasted a ton of time. Has anyone else gotten burned by jumping on a new AI release too fast?

Yeah, I used to feel the same way as you, @logan_owens14. Getting burned by a few bad buys really makes you stop and think, doesn't it? Now I just wait to see if something actually fits my life.

That tech newsletter I read basically said to wait six months before trying any new AI tool.
