We planned a simple evening to play a new game called 'Founders of Gloomhaven'. I thought it would be a chill 2 hour session. Instead, a single rule about resource conversion sparked a debate that lasted over an hour. One friend pulled out the rulebook PDF on his phone, another started searching online forums, and a third was adamant his memory from a playthrough video was correct. We spent more time arguing than playing, and the whole night felt wasted. It was a classic case of analysis paralysis mixed with stubbornness. Has anyone else had a game night completely derailed by a single unclear rule? How do you handle it without killing the mood?

Reading a tech article about the new Ford Powerstroke, I was shocked to see its high-pressure fuel pump can hit over 36,000 psi.

Found that stat in a deep-dive on the Diesel Power magazine website, and now I'm wondering if anyone's had to rebuild one of those monsters yet.

My big 'aha' moment with dried beans

For YEARS I thought canned beans were the only cheap way to go. Then my friend in Phoenix showed me her pantry with bags of dried ones, and I did the math. A 2 pound bag of dried black beans costs like $2.50 and makes the same amount as over 6 cans. I was wasting so much money. Anyone have other pantry staples that are way cheaper dried?
