Last Christmas, my brother let a smart speaker decide board game disputes. It kept getting confused and gave silly answers from weather updates. We spent more time mad at the speaker than playing the game. Using tech like that just adds another layer of frustration.

Honestly, I thought AI could be a fair way to settle arguments until I read morgan_butler's post. Their experience with the smart speaker messing up board games proves it just causes more problems. Now I see that real parenting moments shouldn't be handed off to a bot.
