Rethinking how I trace pipe leaks with AI tools now

I used to spend hours cutting into drywall and poking around with a moisture meter trying to find slab leaks on jobs around Austin. Then about 6 months ago I tried out a thermal imaging camera hooked to an AI app that highlights temperature differences. It shows me exactly where the water is pooling under the floor in under 10 minutes. Turns out the old way of guessing based on water stains was costing me a full day of labor per job. Has anyone else had a similar shift using AI diagnostics in their trade?

Did you spring for the high end camera or just a phone attachment?

Went with a mid-range mirrorless actually, and honestly it's a game changer for street stuff. Jamienguyen, you should check out the Sony a6100 if you're on the fence it's way better than any phone attachment for low light. Phone attachments are fine for quick snaps but they just don't hold up when you're trying to catch movement at dusk. What kind of stuff are you trying to shoot mostly?
