My chicken came out rubbery 4 times before I fixed it
Someone in this group told me to stop crowding the basket and cook thighs separate from breasts. Turns out they were right - now I do 375 for 12 minutes with a flip halfway and it's perfect every time. What's the one air fryer tip you ignored for way too long?

Why did it take me six months of soggy fries to figure out you're supposed to preheat the basket? I kept wondering why my fries were limp and sad while everyone else's were crispy. Turns out throwing cold food into a cold basket is basically steaming it. I felt like a genius when I finally tried preheating for 3 minutes before adding the fries. Now I look back at those six months of disappointment and laugh at myself.

So you just tossed them in cold and hoped for the best? Did you ever wonder why the bag said "preheat" or did you skip that part too?
