Pro tip: don't trust the frozen food box times for your air fryer

I was making frozen mozzarella sticks in my Cosori last night, following the box which said 10 minutes at 400. At 8 minutes, I opened the basket and they were already burnt black. I had to toss the whole batch. I think the air fryer just cooks way faster than a regular oven. Has anyone else found a good rule of thumb for adjusting those times?

Check halfway through the box time.

Yeah, that's a solid rule. I've found it applies to way more than just cooking. It's like any task that has a set time feels twice as long once you pass the halfway point. My brain starts checking the clock every thirty seconds. Waiting for a download, watching a progress bar, even a long drive. The first half flies by, the second half drags forever.

Oh man, it's even worse when you're stuck in a line. You're so close to the front but time just stops, and you start noticing every single person taking forever. That last stretch feels like pure torture.
