Bought a $12 pick set off the tool truck, saved me from pulling a whole panel
I picked up a cheap 4 piece pick set from the tool truck a few weeks back for around $12, mostly as a joke because I figured it would snap on the first seal. Fast forward to Tuesday, I'm fighting a stuck connector on a 737 in the hangar and my normal picks were too fat to get in there. That little hook pick popped it loose in about 30 seconds, no panel removal, no skinned knuckles. It's not fancy gear but it paid for itself on one job and I'm honestly a little mad I waited this long to try one. Any of you got a cheap tool that ended up earning its spot in the box?
