Finally switched from my old torque wrench to a digital one for a flap actuator job
The digital readout on the new one showed I was consistently under-torquing by about 8 inch-pounds with the old clicker. It was just muscle memory, but that small difference matters on a control surface. Anyone have a favorite digital model they trust for critical stuff?

What brand did you end up going with?

Oh man, I totally get what you're saying. I went with a Klein ratcheting set after my buddy's Milwaukee stripped out on a tight bolt. It's been solid, no slipping so far. Feels way more durable than the lower-end stuff I used to grab. I think people overlook how important the jaw design is for grip, especially on older, rusted hardware. Just my two cents but it's worth spending a little extra upfront.
