Can we talk about how the water pressure changes on certain streets in ABQ?

My buddy in plumbing told me to check my specific street's main line before buying a new house here. Sure enough, the pressure near Lomas and San Mateo drops like crazy during peak hours. Has anyone else noticed weird pressure zones around town?

I had a pressure gauge on my hose bib for a week straight before I closed on my place near Juan Tabo. Best money I ever spent, those $20 gauges save you from buying a house with weak pipes.

Wait, your buddy just told you to check the street main line before buying? That's wild, I never even thought about that. I live off of Montgomery and the pressure in my shower goes from decent to a weak drizzle right when I'm trying to wash my hair at 7am. My neighbor two blocks over says his is fine though, so it really is a street by street thing. Lomas and San Mateo is a nightmare for traffic anyway, wouldn't surprise me if the pipes are just as bad.
