Turns out I was parking downtown all wrong for two years
I've been feeding the meters on Gold Ave near 4th for a while now, always swiping my card again after the time ran out. A parking attendant walked by last Tuesday and pointed at the sticker on the machine that says you can add time from your phone without coming back. I had no idea the app let you top off a session from your desk, so I'd been jogging two blocks every 90 minutes for nothing. She also mentioned the first hour is free at the city garages after 4pm, which would've saved me maybe $30 a month. Does anyone know if that free hour thing applies to the structure by the library too?
