Warning: paid $180 for a home inspection on a place near Eubank and it saved me from a money pit
I was about to put an offer on a house off Eubank near the base, and the inspection came back with a cracked heat exchanger on the furnace plus old aluminum wiring in half the rooms. That $180 felt steep at the time but the electrician I had look at it later quoted me $6,500 just to start. Anybody else got a story where the inspection was the best cash you ever spent? Or the opposite, where they missed something big?

That cracked heat exchanger alone was worth way more than 180 bucks, glad you dodged that one.
