Learned this same lesson with a spare car key years ago after locking myself out in a parking lot at 11pm. Now I keep a paper copy of anything important, insurance cards, that weird password sheet, even my wifi password taped inside a kitchen cabinet. Phones die, apps crash, cloud stuff goes down at the worst time. Having a physical backup is like keeping a twenty in your sock drawer, you forget it is there until the day it saves you. People act like printing stuff is old school but honestly it is the smart move now.

My buddy Dave dropped 250 bucks on one of those services back in 2021 and they turned his warehouse supervisor job into something about "optimizing cross-functional supply chain ecosystems." He said the guy clearly never read the info he sent over, just ran it through some template. He rewrote the whole thing himself in like two nights and got hired at a place in Tempe a few weeks later.
