My 12-year-old nephew just called 'Cowboy Bebop' a new show, and I had to sit him down for a history lesson.
I pulled up the original 1998 air date on my phone (which, you know, is older than he is) and explained that calling it 'new' is like calling 'The Matrix' a recent movie, so what's the most hilariously wrong anime fact you've heard someone say with total confidence?

Oh man, that "total confidence" part gets me. I once argued that Sailor Moon was a Naruto rip-off. I was so wrong.
