My anime watchlist app wiped 4 months of episode notes, back yours up today
Opened AniList last Tuesday and my notes for 23 shows were just gone after an update, support said they had no backup on their end. Anyone else lose data in an app update, and what do you use now to keep track of where you left off?

That "no backup on their end" line is rough, sorry that happened. In my experience a plain text file synced to your phone's notes app beats any tracker, it's boring but it never gets wiped by an update.
