Sat through 30 minutes of filler to warn newcomers about the 2016 dub swap
I was three episodes deep on episode 14 of that re-release when the main character's voice suddenly changed mid-scene, and I had to dig through three forum threads on my phone at 2 AM in a crowded train to find out the original voice actor left, so if you're starting that older anime on streaming, check the cast list first or you'll think you're watching a different show, has anyone else hit this with a re-dubbed classic?
Always figured a dub swap was just a fun trivia note until I hit one myself and spent an entire episode thinking my memory was broken. Now I check the cast list before I start anything old.
