Why do so many anime have unsatisfying endings?

I've watched dozens of anime, and too often the endings feel rushed or incomplete. Shows like 'Darling in the Franxx' left me with more questions than answers. It seems like studios run out of time or money. I wish they would plan the story better from the start. Are there any examples of anime with great endings? I'm always disappointed when a good series falls apart at the end.

Actually a lot of anime have solid endings... it's just the unsatisfying ones stick in your memory. Shows like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Mob Psycho 100 stuck the landing perfectly.

It reminds me of how many things get launched with big hype but the follow-through is weak. Phone apps get abandoned after updates, or TV shows get canceled on cliffhangers. Anime feels the same, where the production schedule or budget cuts off the story before it can land properly.
