My neighbor thought bokashi was gross until she saw mine

A few months back, I ran into the lady downstairs at our recycling bins in Portland. She saw my bokashi bucket and said it would definitely rot and stink up the hallway. I invited her up to peek inside after I drained the liquid, and she was shocked there was zero smell. She asked how I did it, so I showed her the layers of bran and how I press down the scraps tight. Now she started her own little setup last Tuesday, and we trade tips on Facebook. Has anyone else converted a skeptic by just letting them open your bucket?
