Pro tip: I quit replacing fridge water filters and started flushing them with a $3 turkey baster, cut my callback rate to almost nothing in 6 months
Sounds dumb, but a guy at the supply house in Mesa showed me the filter housing o-ring gets gunked up way before the carbon is spent, so now I pull the filter, flush the housing with hot water and a baster, and I swear I have not had a single leak call since, has anyone else messed with this or am I just getting lucky?
