TIL about a really rough dig day from a friend in the field
A buddy working on a site in Arizona texted me about their worst day this season. They had a whole trench ready to document, and a sudden desert storm washed away a key soil layer overnight. He said they lost about two days of careful work in just a few hours. Has anyone else had a dig completely wrecked by weather like that?

That feeling when nature undoes your hard work is so universal. You finally get the garden weeded and a windstorm blows in every neighbor's dandelion fluff. Or you wash the car only for a surprise spring pollen shower to coat it yellow by morning. It's that specific frustration of careful effort being erased by something totally out of your control. Makes you want to shake your fist at the sky sometimes.
