A customer's 10 second comment fixed my shop photography
Some guy on Etsy said my top-down shots made the item look flat and small, so I started shooting at a 30 degree angle with a penny next to it for scale. Sales picked up noticeably within two weeks, has anyone else found one small tweak that changed their product photos that much?

Tilted mine too. Now every shot shows my messy desk in the corner.

I spent like 6 weeks shooting my stuff flat on a white tile and wondering why nobody cared. Then a buddy told me to just tilt the camera a little and honestly my thumb ended up in half the shots before I figured it out.
