My cousin said 'ask anything' means you can ask about the weird stuff too

We were talking about this forum and he asked if he could post about why his cat stares at the ceiling. I always thought it was for big life questions, but he said the point is there are no dumb questions. It made me see the whole community differently. What's the strangest thing you've ever asked about here?

I get the "no dumb questions" thing, but I still think some topics are just too weird for here.

Dakota has a point but honestly, most of the "weird" stuff I've seen here turned out to be pretty interesting once people explained it. A post about something like collecting roadkill bones or doing taxidermy on your pet might seem odd at first, but those topics usually end up with some really thoughtful replies. The trick is to just be upfront about why you're curious and not act like it's some big joke. If you treat a strange topic with respect, people tend to meet you halfway here.
