Was dead set against digital art tablets until I borrowed one for a week
I used to swear by pencil and paper, thought digital art was cheating basically. But last month my coworker in Denver let me borrow his entry level tablet for 7 days while he was on vacation. After the first night messing with layers and undo, I cranked out a sketch in 20 minutes that would've taken me 2 hours by hand. The precision felt weird at first but by day 3 I was hooked. Has anyone else had that moment where a tool you wrote off completely changed your process?

Oh come on, you're just getting sucked into the hype. I've tried tablets a few times and always end up missing the texture of paper and the way my hand connects with the surface.

Honestly, is it the actual texture you miss or just the muscle memory of writing?
