Honestly, dying at 2 AM on a mountain sounds like a core memory. Tbh that's the real astro experience right there, fighting your gear. Ngl, if the battery never died you'd just have perfect data and a boring story. The struggle is what makes it feel like a real mission, not just another night in the backyard. Right? Isn't that how it always goes? My mount gave out during a perfect seeing night last month. You just have to laugh or you'll cry.
