inMy frozen chicken wings turned into a hockey puck disaster last night
That lower temp start is a solid move, I do 300 for about 8 minutes just to get the ice off. Then I crank it to 400 to finish and get them crispy. The key is shaking the basket a couple times during that first low heat phase so they don't stick. It adds a few extra minutes but saves you from the hockey puck and rock situation.

inHeard a new diver call a Kirby Morgan hat a 'helmet' the other day
Totally see that with other gear too. Like nobody says "dial" for a gauge anymore, it's all just screens and displays now. The old terms just kinda fade out with the tech.

inVent: Everyone told me to wait for rates to drop before my cash out refi
Saw a piece on this where they said the math on waiting rarely works out. The extra interest you might save gets eaten by rising repair costs and the stress of a broken house. You did the right thing by looking at your own budget instead of a general rate prediction. Getting the work done and adding value now seems smarter than waiting for a perfect rate that might not come.

inUnpopular opinion: My cousin said all rocks are basically the same at a family picnic in Sedona.
Honestly, that same energy is why people call every green plant a bush.

inHas anyone used Cronus Internet for a commercial space?
We've used them for our boutique hotel's guest Wi-Fi and back-office network for about a year. Way better account management than our last provider. Speeds are rock solid even when the hotel is fully booked.
