Best week I had in my new house last month

My AC went out on a Tuesday in July. 95 degrees. Called three places. One guy came out same day. Fixed a bad capacitor in 20 minutes. Cost me $150 total. That was the easy part. Then my lawn mower finally gave up after 7 years. Found a used Honda mower on Facebook Marketplace for $80. Runs perfect. Mowed my whole yard in 30 minutes flat. Has anyone else had a week where everything just worked out?

Did I ever used to think those capacitor fixes were just a band-aid and not worth the money? Yeah, I was wrong. Same thing happened to me two summers ago. The repair guy showed up, swapped it out in ten minutes, charged me $130. I was skeptical but the unit ran fine for another three years until I moved. Sometimes the simplest fix really is the best one.
