Vent: I dropped $1,800 on gutter guards and now I'm the guy who defends them
I swore for two years that gutter guards were a scam sold to people who don't own a ladder. Then the pine trees behind my house in Marietta filled my gutters so bad that water ran down the siding and I paid a guy $400 just to clean them out twice in one fall. I finally caved and paid $1,800 to have guards put on the whole house, mostly out of laziness. Six months in, zero clogs, and I keep going up to check because I don't believe it. Has anyone had these things fail on them, or am I just waiting for the other shoe to drop?
