Figured out after 2 years that I was wet sanding way too early
Last Tuesday I was blocking out a fender on a 2011 Civic that I sprayed about 4 hours before, and a guy from the next bay walked over and asked why I was sanding so soon. Turns out I had been rushing my clear coat the whole time, and that cloudy look I kept blaming on my gun was actually me dragging sandpaper across soft paint. How long do you all wait before you touch it?

Temp and humidity change cure time way more than people admit, four hours can be fine or way off.
