Warning: tried warming spray cans on the dash of my truck and one blew in my face
Left a can of clear on the dash in August and it popped at 140 degrees, sprayed sticky junk all over my windshield. Now I keep them in a cooler with a hot water bottle, anyone else got a cheap way to keep paint flowing when its freezing out?

Ever try just keeping the cans in your truck cab overnight instead of the bed? Way I do it, I toss them on the floor by the heater vent on the drive to the job, and by the time I need them they spray fine. A cooler with a hot water bottle works too but you gotta swap that water every few hours or it turns into a cold brick. I also keep a couple cans in my jacket pockets against my body, sounds dumb but body heat does the trick for small jobs. Just don't leave them in a hot spot in summer, you already learned that one the hard way.
