Just hit 250k miles on my rusty 99 F-150 today

I bought that truck with 82k back in 2005 and it just rolled over into a quarter million on my way to a brake job. Anybody else got a beater that just wont die on em?

Did you ever have to replace the transmission on it or is it all original? That 4.6 or the 5.4 in there just keeps chugging along forever if you take care of them.

oh man, i remember my buddy had one of those trucks and the transmission went out at like 180k but he babied that thing. his was a 4.6 though, i swear those motors just refuse to die even when everything else falls apart around them.
