Last week, I was helping my mom clean out her attic in Cincinnati and we found a box of pictures from 2012. I pointed at one showing their house and said 'see, it was blue back then too.' She looked at me funny and said it was painted green when they moved in, in 2010. I checked the photo date, and she was right. For over a decade, I had a clear memory of a blue house that never existed. Has anyone else had a memory that was just plain wrong like that?

I was opening my HTML files directly in the browser for ages, but Live Server auto-refreshes the page every time I save. Anyone have other extensions that made starting out easier?

I finally tried a cheap plastic spudger against my good metal one for ribbon cable clips

Had a Fuji X-T3 come in with a stuck rear screen, needed to pop the tiny clip on the flex cable. The metal tool I always used slipped and nearly tore the cable. Grabbed a five dollar plastic spudger from a phone repair kit, and it popped right off without a scratch. The extra give in the plastic made all the difference. Anyone else find a simple swap like that saves a ton of headaches?

I was out last night trying to get a shot of the Milky Way. The wind picked up and my camera started to shake on the tripod. I remembered some advice and used a rock to weigh down the legs. The photo came out with less blur than I expected. Now I always check for wind and keep a weight handy.
