Hell yeah, that stuff fixes everything on a truck too.

1985 called, they want their duct tape mentality back. Electrical tape is garbage for chafed wires because it doesn't hold up to heat or oil, it peels off after a few months, and it leaves sticky residue all over the harness. I've seen guys use it on a sensor wire in a desert truck, and it melted into a goopy mess by noon. Real fix is split loom tubing or heat shrink if you want something that actually lasts. Tape is just a bandaid that fails when you need it most.
