PSA: Switched from a generic fiber optic cleaner to the Chemtronics Foam-Tip swabs for a stubborn LRU connector.
Had a 30% failure rate on post-cleaning continuity checks that dropped to zero after the switch. Anyone have a cheaper brand that works just as well on those tiny avionics ports?

Tried the IPA wipes from Chemtronics yet?

Actually, those Chemtronics IPA wipes are 99.9% isopropyl, not 100% pure. I made that mistake once thinking they were straight alcohol. Still work fine for cleaning electronics though.
