I hit 100 trail miles in a single week on the Pacific Crest

I was doing a section from Kennedy Meadows to Mammoth and crunched the numbers after 6 days. Averaged 16.7 miles a day and hit exactly 100.1 at the end. Has anyone else tracked a surprise milestone like that on a long stretch?

Tracking sleep debt after that many miles is the real surprise, not the number.

Wait, did you have to camp in spots where you couldn't actually lie flat? I used to think mileage was all that mattered on a thru-hike. But after a stretch on the JMT I hit my mileage goal but couldn't sleep for three nights because of a bad spot on a slope. That total sleep debt wrecked my next day way worse than hitting a round number felt good. Now I track how many actual restful hours I get, not just miles.
