Tried a new sourdough recipe at 3am and it turned into a pancake
Forgot to feed my starter before bed so I rushed it and ended up with a flat brick that tasted like vinegar. Has anyone else had a late-night baking project go totally off the rails?
Blame the 3am brain for sure. It's funny how we think we can shortcut the basics and still end up with something edible, like trying to rush a slow simmered sauce. Has this kind of thing ever worked out for you later?
