Hit $10,000 in credit card rewards last month and it still feels weird
I've been tracking my cash back and travel points for about five years now, never really expecting to see a big number. Last month my spreadsheet showed I crossed the $10,000 mark total, mostly from a couple of business trips and everyday spending. Has anyone else been surprised by how much they've earned over time, and did you do anything special with the rewards?

Man that is SUCH a wild milestone to hit, I know the feeling. I crossed $8,500 a couple months back and it honestly felt like a glitch in my budget spreadsheet for a solid week. The way those points stack up from business trips is insane, you don't even realize how much you're earning until you sit down and add it all up. I used most of mine for a family trip to Florida, paid for flights and three nights at a hotel completely with points. It still feels weird every time I book something with rewards, like I'm getting away with something. Congrats on that number, seriously, it's a big deal even if it doesn't feel real at first.

Exactly. Feels like cheating every time I hit "submit" on a reward booking.
