Just realized ACH transfers beat wire transfers for almost everything I do
I used to wire money for everything because I thought it was faster and safer, but my credit union in Boise charges $25 per wire while ACH is free. Sent $1,800 to my brother for a truck part via ACH and it showed up in 2 days, same as the wire I paid $25 for the week before. The only time a wire actually made sense was when the seller demanded same day funds on a Friday. Anyone else switch over to ACH for most stuff or am I late to this?
