Hot take: a guy who books online vs a walk-in regular, who actually gets the better cut?
Watched two guys come out of a shop in Austin last Saturday, walk-in got a rushed 15 minute taper while the booked client got 40 minutes of detail work. So is booking ahead just smart business or is the walk-in culture of shooting the breeze while you wait dying for a reason?
Waited 50 minutes at a shop in Dallas once while three walk-ins got waved ahead of me because they knew the owner from way back. Learned my lesson and now I book two weeks out every single time.
