Update: I tried a new shear oil for a month and the old one is just better

The new one said it was 'fast drying' but it left my shears feeling sticky after a few cuts. What brand do you guys trust for keeping tools smooth all day?

Yeah, that sticky feeling is the worst. I've had good luck with the basic stuff from the supply store.

Remember my buddy who bought that fancy brand? His hands were so tacky he kept dropping his tools. Went back to the cheap stuff and never complained again.
