inJust realized my gym buddy was making me weaker not stronger
Man, I feel this so hard. My old gym partner was basically my hype man but in the worst way. He'd spend five minutes telling me how "crazy" my form looked before every set, which just made me nervous and jittery. I finally went solo and realized I could actually focus on my lifts instead of worrying about what he thought. It was like I had been lifting with a friendly ghost that kept messing with my weights. Now I just nod at people and do my reps, and my bench went up 30 pounds in a month. Guess I was the problem all along, or at least he was the distraction.

inPut in a Vista 20p at my buddy's house last month and came back to check the programming yesterday
Read somewhere that the Vista panels are super picky about zone timing for sure.

Bet you noticed which spots actually take cash or card too.

inAppreciation post: That app that rounds up your purchases to the nearest dollar
Wait, have you actually tried tracking what happens when you don't see that money in the first place? I get what you're saying, but I think you're missing the point. When I set up automatic transfers to savings, the money goes away before I even have a chance to spend it. So yeah, I don't feel like I'm missing anything because it was never in my checking account to begin with. It's not about feeling like free money, it's about making sure I don't accidentally blow it on coffee runs or random Amazon stuff. After a few months of this, I definitely noticed my savings stack going up way faster than when I tried to manually move money after the fact.

inMy mentor told me to always sift flour even if the recipe says it's optional, so I skipped it once and ended up with a lumpy cake batter that ruined my daughter's birthday cake.
Yeah, the mesh strainer trick is a total game changer... I used to just whisk like crazy and still got those raw flour pockets. Sifting feels like a chore but it really does make everything combine so much easier.
