Warning: I spent 2 years using the wrong grip on my clippers

My mentor walked in during a skin fade and laughed out loud because I was holding the clippers like a pencil the whole time. He showed me the palm grip and my arm stopped cramping by Friday. Anyone else get caught holding their tools totally backwards for way too long?

bruh the pencil grip is such a classic move though. i did the same thing with a drill for like a year before someone told me to choke up on it. honestly it makes me wonder how many other basic skills im just doing wrong without knowing. like i probably tie my shoes weird too and nobody has ever said anything. the palm grip thing clicked for me when i realized its the same way you hold a hammer, not a pen. once you see it you cant unsee it.
