Was dead wrong about those expensive foil shavers, they actually work
I spent 8 months swearing my $30 Wahl was just as good as the $200 Andis foil shaver a buddy recommended, but after 5 straight head shaves with the Andis I get way less irritation. Has anyone else avoided making the jump to a pricier tool and regretted waiting?

How is that a "they get you" thing though? Doesn't the better tool actually deliver less irritation like he said? A $30 Wahl razor gave me razor burn for weeks before I finally caved on a nicer one and swore at myself for being cheap. Why do we always assume expensive options are just marketing hype when sometimes the engineering is legit? Did you think a cheap rotary was as good as a Braun Series 9 for your face?
