DAE think pricing at thrift stores has gotten way too high lately?

I used to find crazy deals at the Goodwill on 82nd Ave, but last week I saw a used Ikea lamp priced at $28. Some people say it's still cheaper than retail and helps a good cause, but I'm starting to think the bargain is gone from bargain bin hunting. Where do you draw the line between 'thrifted treasure' and 'overpriced junk'? Is it just my area or have you guys noticed this too?

Have you noticed if it's the actual Goodwill stores that are the worst offenders or is it the smaller local shops too? I saw a chipped coffee mug at a Savers for twelve bucks the other day and I'm still mad about it. Maybe it's just me but I feel like the prices are based on what they think someone might pay online rather than what the item is actually worth sitting on a shelf. Is that what you're seeing in your area or is it different?

@reesepatel i feel you on that, goodwill in my area is definitely the worst for that. they'll price a stained shirt at $15 and act like it's a steal. best advice i got is to check out the bins or outlet stores if you have one near you, everything's by weight and way cheaper.
