Wait, the pilot thing is interesting but there's a different angle here. Nobody talks about how streaming changed all this. Back when we had DVDs and reruns on TV, your watch order kind of forced itself on you because you just caught whatever was on. Now with everything on demand, you have to build the order in your head, and that's where it gets messy. Starting with the pilot every time is really just a way to reset your brain before the new stuff comes in. Did the guy say if he does it for every show or just the ones with a big story?
