Back in the day, the community center would show new episodes of hit shows

It's weird how we used to plan our weeks around TV schedules. Now I can finish a whole season in a weekend without leaving the house.

Remember when everyone watched the same show at the same time? That's dead now. On-demand streaming killed shared experiences. We binge alone in our bubbles instead of waiting together. It mirrors how social media replaces real conversation with scrolling. Convenience has made us lazy and apart from each other. The whole excitement of waiting and talking about shows is just gone.

@mila_jenkins43, are you serious? Shared experiences aren't completely dead just because we stream shows. People still talk about shows online and have watch parties, so the conversation moved to different places. It's not the same as waiting week to week, but it's still a way to connect.

lol true but let's be real, my "watch party" is just me texting "omg did you see that part" three days after my friend already binged the whole season. The shared experience is me and my microwave at 2am tbh
