Tried a new way to keep hydrangeas from wilting on delivery

Did she use a new penny or an old one? I've heard the older ones have more copper, but I'm not sure if it makes a difference.

Hot take: I always air out my tent right when I get home. No more mildew smells.

My last tent got so funky it basically became a science project. I'm with you on the air out method, even if it feels like setting up camp all over again. Simonh78, my garage is a black hole for damp gear too, it's a losing battle. I figure a few hours in the shade is better than a permanent mold farm, so Oliver might have a point about the sun. Honestly, the real work is explaining to my neighbors why there's a tent in my yard every Tuesday.

Update: I picked the 'official story' over the deep dive on that Florida airbase incident

Totally get that feeling (been there with so many weird news stories). The internet's whole thing now is taking that one weird detail you tried to forget and feeding it back to you for weeks. It's like the algorithm knows you chose the boring answer and wants to punish you for it. Honestly makes it harder to just move on with normal life when your phone keeps arguing with your choice.

The loss of hands-on training in trade schools worries me

I mean, I tried learning car stuff from a sim once and ended up trying to 'ctrl+z' a real oil change. So yeah, I see your point. Sims are great for theory, but they don't teach you the feel of a wrench or the smell of burnt coolant. You need that muscle memory from actually doing the job. Schools should balance sims with live projects on old engines. Let students make mistakes on beaters, not just perfect digital models. Otherwise, we'll have a generation of mechanics who can debug a virtual car but panic when a real bolt is rusted shut.

Got the furnace airflow dialed in just right... melts are way cleaner now.

Yeah, saw a YouTube deep dive on this. The guy was saying even a small change in the fan speed or damper position can really cut down on turbulence in the chamber. Less turbulence means less junk getting whipped up into your melt. Makes total sense why your stuff is coming out cleaner now.
